With the attendance of Foreign Affairs and Trade Deputy Ministers from member countries, the Pacific Alliance's 36th High Level Group Meeting kicked off in Puerto Varas (Chile) on Tuesday.
Officials belong to the High Level Group (GAN) aiming to oversee progress of technical teams, assess related areas and craft proposals for further approach to countries and international entities.
On Wednesday, PA's Ministerial Meeting will reunite 49 Observer States, address priority programs and cooperation activities linked to SMEs, education, science, technology and innovation, as well as trade facilitation.
On June 30th, Foreign Affairs and Trade Ministers will attend an official session aimed at making decisions to develop objectives and take specific actions included in the Framework Agreement.
At the same time, the Business Summit will reunite over 500 entrepreneurs, Heads of State and more than 20 PA's Business Council representatives.
As is known, the Pacific Alliance is a regional integration initiative composed of Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru.
Member States host a population of 216 million and account for 39% of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of Latin America and the Caribbean.
