Paraguay Defense Minister Diogenes Martinez paid an official visit to Peru, and toured the Navy Industrial Service (SIMA) facilities, which reminded him the intense movement and work in Chinese shipyards.

SIMA CEO, Rear Admiral Silvio Alva, informed him of the work done for the state and other clients.

Alva noted the work undertaken by training ship BAP Union, Itinerant Platforms for Social Action' (PIAS) in the Amazon, patrol boats on the coast and rainforest areas, as well as the construction of the multi-purpose ship.
