Pacific Alliance Financial Integration Meeting opens in Peru

Peru's Foreign Trade and Tourism Minister Eduardo Ferreyros opened the Second Financial Integration Meeting of the Pacific Alliance (AP) with authorities and businessmen from four member countries.

Slated for 8:00 AM, the opening featured President of the Business Council of the Pacific Alliance-Chapter Peru Juan Varilias and President of Peru's National Confederation of Private Business Associations (Confiep) Roque Benavides.

Held at the Westin Lima Hotel & Convention Center in San Isidro district, the event brings together the business communities of Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru.

The bloc fosters the free circulation of people, goods and services across its territories.

It also aims to harness the opportunities provided by economic and financial integration to guarantee solid, steady and inclusive growth.
