Minister of Trade of New Zealand Tim Groser highlighted the "audacious process" the Pacific Alliance goes through.

The said group is composed of nations: Mexico, Peru, Colombia and Mexico.

In this sense, Groser urged the bloc member States to continue boosting the integration process.

Statements were made during the Pacific Alliance Council of Ministers meeting held in the framework of the 10th Summit of the Pacific Alliance, currently underway in Peru’s Paracas city.

The 'Council of Ministers' meeting reunited Ministers of Foreign Trade and Foreign Affairs, who also engaged in dialogue with the Entrepreneurial Council (CEAP) members to strengthen trade within the bloc.

Likewise, the Council of Ministers held a meeting with the Chairman of the Inter-American Development Bank, Luis Alberto Moreno.

The first session concluded after 12:00 PM. Later, the official photograph was taken by the Peruvian Foreign Affairs Ministry. The second meeting started at 3.00 P.M.

The Pacific Alliance, composed of Mexico, Colombia, Chile and Peru, is an economic and trade integration mechanism that seeks to build a deep integration area to achieve free movement of goods, services, capitals and people; as well as to promote greater growth, development and competitiveness of its economies.

Furthermore, it is aimed at becoming an economic, trade integration platform with worldwide projection and special emphasis on the Asia- Pacific region.
