New PM bolsters Peru's consensus and capabilities

Peru’s new Prime Minister, Ana Jara, guarantees stability in the country as she meets conditions to exert leadership and build bridges with all sectors, the National Confederation of Private Business Associations (Confiep) said Wednesday.
Alfonso Garcia Miro, Confiep’s President, hailed the capacity for dialogue with several political parties and sectors which Jara displays as it allow reaching widest consensus to raise business and citizens’ expectations.

“The country requires consensus of all parties across the political spectrum with the goal of ensuring political stability," he said in statements to Andina news agency.

The head of Peru’s largest private business group continued, "These factors will generate good business climate and suitable conditions for investments, thus enhancing population’s well being nationwide”.

“I hold the highest opinion of Ana Jara and I have no doubt of her skills and capacity to maintain political harmony, build bridges, dialogue and consensus,” Miro told reporters.

Ana Jara has replaced Rene Cornejo as the President of Peru's Ministerial cabinet and Prime Minister. The oath-taking ceremony was held late Tuesday at the Gobernment Palace in Lima, the nation's capital. 

"It is a great honor for me to have been appointed Prime Minister by President Humala," Jara said, adding "My new appointment gives me a unique opportunity to keep serving Peru and its citizens by working hard together”.
