Mincetur: Tourism packages available for Peruvian Carnival season

The Foreign Trade and Tourism Ministry (Mincetur) launched the 2015 domestic tourism campaign on the ¿Y tú qué planes? (And you, any plans?) Website, announced today the Head of the Ministry, Magali Silva.

The ¿Y tú qué places? site is the most visited by Peruvian travelers after Google, Mincetur reminded.

“We have decided to kick off the campaign this year with Carnival season, which is celebrated, from February 1 to March 22, in several regions of our county,” the minister affirmed.

“These beautiful and important cultural manifestations are deeply rooted in in Peru, so that the festivities, organized around those, are motivating for domestic travelers,” she added.

The Chairwoman of Promperu’s Executive Board explained the ¿Y Tú qué planes? platform currently offers a series of trip packages to visit several Peruvian regions.

Those packages start at: S/.149 (about US$50). Some include lodging, transportation and, even, sightseeing tours.
