Mick Jagger, singer of Britain's legendary rock band The Rolling Stones, made a call for fans to show their support to natural disaster victims in Peru.

As is known, the Andean country is currently at the mercy of heavy rains, landslides and floods that have destroyed infrastructure and crops, as well as left many citizens homeless.

Via Twitter, the star urged fans to join the Peruvian Government's "Una sola fuerza" (A Single Force) campaign by helping raise funds.

The message included a link to connect users to a donation request by Peru's Embassy in the United Kingdom and Consulate-General in London.

In addition, the petition underlined 100% of donations will be transferred to Peru's National Civil Defense Institute (Indeci).

It must be noted The Rolling Stones arrived in Lima within the framework of its Latin America Olé Tour in 2016. On that occasion, they rocked 70,000 fans out.

Followers spent 2-hours rock & rolling to the fullest, while listening to the group's most popular songs such as "It's only Rock 'n' Roll," "Tumbling Dice," "Angie," and "Like a Rolling Stone," among others hits.
