U.S. alternative rock band Linkin Park has chosen Peruvian skabilly (ska+rockabilly) group Turbopotamos to open its long-awaited concert set for May in Lima.
Throughout its 18-year career, Turbopotamos has released seven albums. It has also opened concerts for bands such as R.E.M., Travis and Oasis.
This is the first time the U.S. band will play in the Andean country. Its performance is scheduled for May 11 at the National Stadium.
Linkin Park is composed of Chester Bennington, Rob Bourdon, Brad Delson, Dave "Phoenix" Farrell, DJ Joe Hahn and Mike Shinoda.
