Peru’s Ministry of Energy and Mines (MEM) officially announced on Monday that Lima will host the third Oil, Gas and Electricity Conference on February 25-26, 2015.
According to a resolution issued by the said Ministry, the event was made official at the request of Elsa Acevedo, Prensa Grupo’s general manager.
A recent technical report by MEM’s Directorate General of Hydrocarbons said that the conference is aimed at encouraging and supporting investments in the Andean nation.
To this end, renowned exponents of the sector have been invited to attend the event, which is expected to be a platform for the exchange of ideas and to help find better ways to address the challenges.
In addition, the said event will gather key investors in order to foster discussion on topical issues, perspectives and business opportunities in the sector.
