His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Amir of Kuwait, congratulated Peruvian President Ollanta Humala on his country's 193rd anniversary of independence.
In a cable of congratulations to Humala, His Highness the Amir expressed hope for progress and prosperity of the South American country, according to Kuwait News Agency Kuna.
Their Highnesses the Deputy Amir and Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah sent similar cables to the Peruvian President.
