Kuczynski to meet four LatAm presidents in Chile

President-Elect of Peru Pedro Pablo Kuczynski will meet four Latin American leaders and heads of multi-lateral financial bodies while in Santiago, Chile today and tomorrow.

Peruanos por el Kambio leader will take part in the Pacific Alliance Summit as a guest. He is about to leave for the Chilean capital.

Before heading to the airport, Kuczynski told the press that in addition to meeting Michelle Bachelet (Chile), Juan Manuel Santos (Colombia) and Enrique Peña (Mexico), he will meet Argentine leader Mauricio Macri.

Likewise, he will hold audiences with top representatives of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the Andean Development Corporation (CAF).

Regarding the meeting with Chilean leader, Kuczynski claimed he will transmit the country’s willingness to bolster good neighborly relations in the economic and political spheres.

He informed that Bolivian President Evo Morales is interested in having a conversation with him, which might occur after he takes office on July 28, during an eventual gathering in Peru-Bolivia border town of Desagüadero.

The Pacific Alliance summit runs thru Friday and Peruvian President Ollanta Humala is taking part in it.

At the summit, Peru will hand over the pro tempore presidency of the international bloc to Chile.
