International Monetary Fund (IMF) Managing Director Christine Lagarde visited the Sacred Valley of the Incas located in the Cusco region prior to her official participation at the Annual Meetings of World Bank Group (WBG) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to be held in Lima on October 5-12.
Lagarde arrived in Cusco region to visit the Sacred Valley and historic sites comprised in the Incan legacy.
The IMF Managing Director visited the Pisac-based handicraft market and archaeological site along with Peruvian Economy and Finance Minister Alonso Segura.
She witnessed the craftsmen's work and contemplated clothes, as well as handicrafts at the market.
