Green Day to perform in Peru

U.S. punk rock band Green Day will give a concert at Lima's National Stadium on November 15.

The renowned group will arrive in the Andean country within the framework of its world tour titled "Revolution Radio," which is also the name of its twelfth studio album.

Said album was released on October 7th last year. It debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 Chart.

The tour also comprises stops in other countries of the Americas and Europe.

On this occasion, the group will share the stage with fellow American ska-punk band The Interrupters, which will open the long-awaited gig.

Among Green Day's best-selling singles, "Boulevard Of Broken Dreams," "21 Guns," "American Idiot," "Wake Me Up When September Ends" and "Basket Case" stand out. 

Formed in 1986, the band is composed of Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt and Tré Cool.  

Pre-sale tickets will be available on June 24-25, whereas the official sale date has been set for June 26.
