Close to 40 foreign experts from 13 Ibero-American Programme for Science and Technology for Development (CYTED) member-countries gather in Lima (Peru) until Thursday to evaluate projects submitted by regional countries.
The group of specialists will constitute a series of evaluation panels. Corresponding delegation is presided over by CYTED Secretary-General Alberto Majo Pineyrua.
Peru's State-run National Council for Science, Technology and Technological Innovation (Concytec) will host the meeting.
A series of activities, including lectures and conferences led by foreign experts, have been organized.
It must be noted CYTED program promotes cooperation activities linked to areas: Food Industry; Health; Promotion of Industrial Development; Sustainable Development; Global Change and Ecosystems; Information and Communication Technologies; Science and Society; as well as Energy.
