Over 75 Peruvian representatives will attend ExpoPeru Central America trade show to be held in Costa Rica and Panama from August 13 to 16, Peru’s Export and Tourism Promotion Board (Promperu) said Tuesday.
This event to be led by Peru's Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism, Jose Luis Silva, is a promotion tool that is part of the strategy of Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism.
ExpoPeru will feature Peru Moda fashion show, Peru mucho gusto cocktail and a business roundtable, which will give Peruvian entrepreneurs the opportunity to meet over 160 importers from Costa Rica and Panama.
Heads of associations, congressmen, officials and entrepreneurs in food, manufacturing, and apparel sectors will participate in the four-day trade show.
PromPeru recalled that the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with Costa Rica came into force on June 1 2013, providing further access of Peruvian products, increasing investments, and improving integrations with this country.
