Ecuador’s president praises meeting to be held with President Humala

Ecuador’s President Rafael Correa praised on Saturday the meeting to be held with his Peruvian counterpart Ollanta Humala on Wednesday, February 29 in Peru’s northern Chiclayo city on the occasion of the V Binational Cabinet meeting.

The Ecuadorian leader noted that he has had conversations with his collaborators to prepare the meeting with Peruvian President Ollanta Humala.

According to Ecuador’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting between both South American leaders will take place at 09:30 hours (14:30 GMT).

Then, both presidents will take part in the Binational Cabinet meeting where they will discuss topics such as infrastructure and connectivity, environment and production, social and cultural and security and defense.

“This meeting will be the first one with the government of my friend President Humala,” said President Correa.

The V Binational Cabinet meeting will end with the signing of several international agreements and a presidential declaration.
