Peruvian Ambassador to D.C. Carlos Pareja deemed as positive the audience between President-elect of the United States Donald Trump and diplomatic representatives from various countries.

“He [Trump] said he is willing to improve existing relationships with countries and, for doing so, he has named a high-quality staff as part of his Cabinet,” he said.

“This was well received by all attendees at the meeting,” Pareja told RPP radio and TV station.

Trump, who is scheduled to take office as the 45th President of the United States on Friday, placed particular emphasis on the Mexico issue, the Peruvian diplomat affirmed.
