Domestic tourism growth would mainly be supported by the expenditure on accommodations, food and local products, among others, that thousands of tourists will made when traveling inside the country.
Cornejo noted that the most visited places will be Ayacucho, Trujillo (La Libertad) and Peruvian northern beaches like Pimentel, in Lambayeque and Mancora in Piura.
Moreover, she added that long holidays promote domestic tourism growth, thus Peru's Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (Mincetru) will continue launching promotional campaigns.
