Chinese Premier has arrived in Lima, Peru

With corresponding honors the President of the Republic of Peru, Ollanta Humala; First Lady, Nadine Heredia, and members of the Ministerial Cabinet welcomed the current Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China, Li Keqiang, and his wife, Cheng Hong, at Lima's Government Palace on Friday afternoon.

Mr. Humala and his guest will hold a private audience. Afterwards, the leaders and corresponding Ministers of State will attend a meeting, where bilateral agreements are to be inked. Later, the Chinese visitors will participate in an official dinner offered by the Peruvian Head of State.

Chinese Premier Li Keqiang and his wife have arrived in Lima this afternoon to pay a two-day official visit to Peru upon invitation from President Humala.
An official aircraft landed at the Peruvian Air Force Base located in Callao district at 04:15 PM (local time). 

Upon arrival, the couple was welcomed by the hosting nation’s Foreign Affairs Minister, Ana Maria Sanchez; members of Foreign Affairs Ministry staff, such as Peruvian Ambassador Alberto Galvez de Rivero, and Chinese Ambassador to Peru, Huang Minhui.

Prior to arriving at the Government Palace, the couple was driven to Torre Tagle Palace, Peru's Foreign Affairs Ministry headquarters.

On Saturday, the Chinese politician is to join a series of activities, including visits to meseum and meetings with entrepreneurs and diplomats.

The said international gathering aims at strengthening the bilateral strategic partnership between both nations.
