The event kicked off on Tuesday with a parade and the presentation of Ekeko, the god of abundance and prosperity.
The fair was opened by Puno's mayor Luis Butron and during the festival the Ekeko offered replicas of dollar bills to bring good luck.
In addition, the fair also features some 40 stands, which display tiny replicas of cars, planes, houses, food, appliances, furniture, suitcases full of money and other properties.
The Ekeko is depicted as a man with a mustache wearing traditional Andean clothes and completely loaded with bags and baskets with grain and food, household objects, and currency bills.
