APEC's Business Advisory Council (ABAC) Chairman Juan Francisco Raffo highlighted President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski's past State visit to China, assuring said promotion of the Inca nation will impact its agricultural exports.

"I think [President] Kuczynski did the right thing by travelling to China to extend a personal invitation to President Xi Jinping for his upcoming visit to Peru," he said.

The ABAC Chief underlined the Asian Giant has become the Andean nation's biggest trade partner and main exports destination over the past few years.

Thus, "[President] Kuczynski's trip to China was the right choice."

"His visit will have a favorable impact on agricultural exports. However, such positive promotion should be complemented by a strong hydraulic infrastructure boost to address China and the world's major demand," he expressed.

Raffo noted the visit may also impact hydro-biological exports, if the country further improves its aquaculture industry.

As is known, the Head of State described his State visit to China, as well as his participation in the 71st Session of the United Nations General Assembly, as "highly productive."

Mr. Kuczynski proved satisfied by achievements made during his trips to the world's two largest economies, and pointed out benefits will be seen shortly in the form of investments in the Inca nation.
