14:11 80 financial firms' represenatives in Singapore attended inPeru Asia Road Show
 
Lima, Jul. 16 (ANDINA). Eighty representatives of financial firms in Singapore participated in inPeru Asia Road Show which was held on Friday 13 in this country, Peru's Embassy to Singapore said Monday.
The event included bilateral meetings with firms interested in exploring investment opportunities in Peru.

In addition, Peru’s Congress President, Daniel Abugattas; Minister of Economy and Finance, Luis Miguel Castilla; Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism, Jose Luis Silva; and Peru's Central Bank President, Julio Velarde held meeting with their counterparts in Singapore.

Some of the companies that took part at the event were DBS Bank, Citibank, UBS, Morgan Stanley; Temasek, Keppel; Government of Singapore Investment Corporation (GIC), Securities Industry, Singapore Airlines, Spring International, Price Waterhouse Coopers (PWC), Jurong International, Portek, Asia Navigation, andTee Yih Jia Food, among others.

Abugattas met with his Singaporean counterpart Michael Palmer; and Castilla held meetings with Chief Executive IE Singapore, Teo Eng Cheong and with Singapore's Minister of Finance and Transport, Josephine Teo.

Silva met with Singapore Airlines’ Vice President, Leslie Thng; Raphael Chua from Jurong International; and the Singapore’s Minister for Trade and Industry, Lim Hng Kiang.

In turn, Velarde met with representatives of Singapore Investment Corp (GIC) and Temasek.
