Lima, Jun. 22 (ANDINA).- Peruvian and Korean officials will meet tomorrow in Seoul to resume bilateral trade negotiations on rules of origin and related procedures in the framework of their free trade talks.
In these negotiations they will review line by line the tariff subheadings to be included in the harmonized system of the FTA.
A group of experts from Peru’s Ministry of Agriculture (Minag) will travel to Seoul to participate in this and other meetings of the 3rd Round of Negotiations for a Peru-South Korea trade deal, which will be held from June 29th to July 3rd.
Minag officials will not only participate in the Rules of Origin group meeting but also in the Market Access and Trade Barriers group.
“The signing of a FTA with South Korea is one of the government’s goals as it will increase Peru's exports of agricultural products,” said Minag.
