Lima, May 30 (ANDINA). Peruvian exports to Germany between January and March 2012 amounted to US$ 438.9 million, a 77 percent increase over the same period a year earlier, Peru's Exporters Association (Adex) reported.
According to Adex, export volume increased due to sales of minerals, especially copper, which turned Germany into the seventh destination market of Peruvian products in the January and March period 2012.

Moreover, exports of traditional products rose 190 percent to US$ 32.5 million driven by increased sales of coffee.

Main exporters to Germany were Cormin, Compañía Minera Antamina, Minera Suyamarca, Glencore Perú, Gold Fields La Cima,Tecnológica de Alimentos (TASA), Austral Group, among others.
