Lima, Jun. 28 (ANDINA).- Located on a 1500 square meter area, "Sea World" has recently opened to the public at the Huachipa Zoo in the Peruvian capital, Lima.
Now visitors can see twenty four penguins, one pelican, one guanay cormorant, a couple of otters, and sea lions in three exhibition areas.
The penguin exhibition area includes incubators and special breeding areas as part of the zoo's efforts to preserve these animals.
This is a unique exhibition in Latin America featuring playful and adorable penguins in conditions as near as possible to their natural habitat.
The Huachipa Zoo is located on Av. Las Torres S/N, Ate Vitarte, at the 9,5 km of Carretera Central (Central Highway), on the way to Chosica in Lima.
