He explained that political and trade ties between Peru and Brazil are becoming stronger.
“As a result, companies which already operate in the country have ratified their investments; meanwhile, others have increased its interest in entering the national market.“
Castillo told Andina that at present Brazilian investments in Peru total US$3.50 billion and added that this figure will significantly grow in the next years.
In addition, among the most important Brazilian investments are the one of Odebrecht, which this year purchased most of the shares of Kuntur Transportadora de Gas to carry out the South Andean Gas pipeline project, which will require an investment of US$1.50 billion.
