The ceremony is attended by First Lady Nadine Heredia, and ministers of Foreign Affairs, Rafael Roncagliolo; Women, Aída García Naranjo; Culture, Susana Baca; and Foreign Trade and Tourism, José Luis Silva.
The mayor of Lima Susana Villaran and the diplomatic body accredited in the country are also taking part in this major event.
In this fourth edition of Mistura the Peruvian Society of Gastronomy pays homage to Peru's fruit, with this purpose a total of 300 producers from 18 regions of the country will be present.
The 'El Gran Mercado' pavilion will represent the meeting point of Peruvian biodiversity with 117 stands opened to public on September 9-18.
During the gastronomic fair, the 'Rocoto de Oro' award will be granted to those who have always preserved Peru's emblematic fruits.
Likewise, Mistura will have 150 outlets of food and drink from Lima and other regions in the country, as well as other stand named ' El Rincon del Pan', from where every 15 minutes more than 40 varieties of breads, from different Peruvian regions, will come out.
