12:51 Uruguayan president to attend Humala's inauguration
Montevideo, Jul. 26 (ANDINA). The President of Uruguay, Jose Mujica, will arrive on Wednesday in Lima to participate in the inauguration ceremony of President-elect Ollanta Humala to take place on July 28, reported the president's press office.

According to his meeting's agenda, Mujica will depart from Uruguay on Wednesday to arrive in Lima at 18:00 hours (23:00 GMT).

Late Wednesday the Uruguayan president will attend a dinner hosted by Peruvian President Alan Garcia to honor all Presidents who will attend Humala's taking office ceremony, which will take place at the Government Palace in Lima.

Mujica confirmed that, after attending the said ceremony he will participate in the special summit of leaders of the Union of South American Nations (Unasur).

Humala paid an official visit to Uruguay in June 2011 as part of his multi-nation tour which also took him to Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay, members' countries of the Southern Common Markets (Mercosur).
