An exhibition called "Witnesses of our world" opened few days ago in the municipal library of San Isidro, where a group of painters and sculptors from Massachusetts exhibit their creations in Lima.

The exhibition is part of the program "Art Ambassadors," and is sponsored by the Fulbright Commission and other institutions.

The artists are Michael Evans, Donna Mac-Lure, Sarah Mott, Karole Nicholson, Colleen Vandeventer and Hans Schaefer.

According to exhibition’s organizer Kerrie Bellisario, the idea is to show how Attleboro artists understand the world and art.

The exhibition is only the first step in a project that seeks that Peruvian artists can also travel and exhibit their works at a museum in Attleboro, USA.

San Isidro is Lima's financial and garden district, as it stands out for its green zones and exclusive residential areas.
