Peru: Prime Minister meets with UK Ambassador

Peruvian Prime Minister Gustavo Adrianzen held a meeting with United Kingdom Ambassador Gavin Cook, with whom he addressed issues of mutual interest for both nations.

During this session, both dignitaries discussed the Government-to-Government projects undertaken through the National Infrastructure Authority (ANIN).

The Cabinet chief underscored that economic reactivation and citizen security are the Peruvian Government's pillars. Thus, it is essential to attract investment that allows for closing gaps and dynamizing the economy.

In turn, Ambassador Cook expressed to the Peruvian Prime Minister the United Kingdom's interest in intensifying cooperation within the framework of Peru's accession process to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).

Moreover, the British diplomat highlighted the support for the National Gratitude Specialized Services Program aimed at older adults.

The meeting took place at the Presidency of the Council of Ministers (PCM) headquarters in Lima on Friday.
