Donations consisted of water, food supplies and other relief items.

Likewise, the Armed Forces carried out 381 flights over the area. Efforts were comprised in the measures aimed at reconstructing the region.

Additionally, the central government allocated S/100,000 (around US$30,562) to support Ancash residents.

Furthermore, State-run "Trabaja Peru" (Work, Peru) program will generate 3,907 temporary jobs in the region.

The program is aimed at promoting the development of infrastructure projects in the zones affected by "Coastal El Niño" phenomenon.
