As is known, said agreement was signed in the Peruvian capital, Lima, on August 24, 2023.
In this sense, the legislative resolution is made up of one article.
"The Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Peru and the Government of the United States of America for the Implementation of the Covenant to Combat Misuse, Illicit Production, and Trafficking of Drugs between the Republic of Peru and the United States of America, signed in Lima on July 23, 1996, and regarding Air Interception and Related Assistance from the United States of America is approved," the document reads.
The resolution was signed by Parliament Chairman Alejandro Soto and First Vice-Chairman Arturo Alegria.
It was also endorsed by President Dina Boluarte and Prime Minister Gustavo Adrianzen.
