her commitment to Peru's economic growth.
"She (the president) reaffirmed her maximum efforts to exceed the economic growth expectations forecast for the current year, and that she is committed, in accordance with her condition as a woman, to continue fighting for a better country; she assured the WTO director-general that she will do so until the end of her term in office," Gonzalez-Olaechea indicated.
In turn, the visiting dignitary —he said— underscored the country's economic growth projections, according to official figures that are of public knowledge.
"She also congratulated the madam president for her fortitude as a woman leader, after having faced difficult times following December 7, 2022. The constitutional President of the Republic thanked her over those words on her government," he stated.
At a press conference, Minister Gonzalez-Olaechea said the
WTO director-general will continue her visit to Peru fulfilling a work agenda with the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs on possible agreements in favor of an economy that focuses more on women entrepreneurs and the objectives to which Peru is adhered.
