The Peruvian Embassy in the Czech Republic has participated for the seventh time at the 32nd International Tourism and Regional Tourism Trade Fair "Holiday World & Region World ," which took place from March 15 to 17, in the city of Prague.

The event was attended by Condor Travel tour operator, through its commercial manager in Europe, Alfredo Serrano, who welcomed Czech attendees interested in visiting Peru.

As a novelty, Peru's 14-square-meter booth included an interactive experience, which attendees could share on social media.

Likewise, the Trade Office in Hamburg provided the Peruvian Embassy with promotional material, which was handed to attendees and travel agents.

After a few networking sessions with speakers, it was determined that three companies offered package tours to Peru.

The most recurring journey remains the 15-day tour across the southern part of Peru. It includes stops in Lima, Paracas, Cusco, and Arequipa, and departs four times a year.

Other destinations presented at the trade fair included a voyage along the northern coast of Peru and a stay in the Amazon area (at lodges in Iquitos region).

It should be noted that Holiday World & Region World is the most important tourism and travelling event not only in the Czech Republic, but also in the Central European region.

The 2024 edition attracted a large audience and the participation of 220 exhibiting companies from 19 countries.

As every year, the fair had a "partner country," which played a key role during the three days of the event. This year, Sri Lanka was selected to fill this post.
