British singer Phil Collins announced English-American rock band The Pretenders as special guest in his Not Dead Yet Tour next year.

It is worth mentioning The Pretenders perfectly mix punk and new wave, as well as pop hits better than any other band, featuring songs like "I'll Stand By You," "Back On The Chain Gang," and "Don't Get Me Wrong."

Moreover, the group has sold more than 25 million albums, and singer Chrissie Hynde —the band's founder and leader— is one of the greatest contemporary composers.

The rock band released "Alone" album in 2016 —36 years after their remarkable debut album's release.

"Alone" was recorded in Nashville with the help of The Black Keys' Dan Auerbach as head, producer, and multi-instrumentalist.

Likewise, the album was mixed by American record producer, audio engineer, mixer and musician Tchad Blake, who has also worked with artists such as the Arctic Monkeys, Peter Gabriel, and Elvis Costello.

It must be noted the concert will take place at Lima's Jockey Club on March 13, 2018.
