President Kuczynski's wife Nancy Lange on Thursday encouraged all Peruvians to donate blood in favor of children diagnosed with cancer.

Mrs. Lange said anyone can make a difference by helping minors suffering from such disease.

Her remarks were made via Twitter on the occasion of the International Childhood Cancer Day.

Those interested, she said, can reach the National Institute of Child Health in Lima's San Borja district to undergo the process.

Being 18-55 years old and weighing more than 50 kg (about 110.231 pounds) is mandatory to meet the basic requirements.

"Service hours are from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, from Monday to Sunday," her post reads.
