Peruvian farming exports totaled US$462 million in October this year, up 6.2% from the same month in 2016, Central Reserve Bank (BCR) reported.

Said expansion was mostly underpinned by higher volume (+12.5%) and average prices (+5%) of exported products.

It must be noted these two factors maintain a positive trend since August 2016.

Within this framework, companies such as Camposol (81.6%), Gandules Inc (59.1%) and Vitapro (47.2%) increased their sales.

As per economic blocs, higher shipments to the European Union (10.6%), North America (6.4%) and Asia (3%) were registered during the analyzed month.
