"There is a growing demand for Peruvian passengers to access these Colombian destinations, and vice versa, so from August 24 they will have an easier and faster way to get there with these direct flights," said AviancaTaca’s general manager in Peru Nani Garrués.
She explained that these new flights represent an increase of 1,152 seats per week, in both directions, which would facilitate air traffic between Peru and Colombia, benefiting both the passengers who travel for pleasure and the corporate ones.
Adding these new direct flights to which currently offers Taca and Avianca from Lima to Bogota, passengers boarding from Lima will have available about 33 flights per week to Colombia.
"Colombia has an exponential economic and export trade with Peru, and direct flights to Medellin and Cali also allows us to offer a good alternative for cargo transportation between Lima and these cities," commented Garrués.
