According to Peru's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Qatari delegation is interested into various business sectors, including hotels, tourist complexes, telecommunications, shopping centers, real estate, and mining.

A large delegation of businessmen will accompany the Emir of Qatar during his participation in the Third Summit of Arab and South American Countries (ASPA Summit) in Lima.

The Qatari investors have stressed the importance of this bi-regional meeting not only for large companies, but for small and medium enterprises that seek to find new input suppliers and/or potential markets to export their goods and services.
