The Lima Stock Exchange's General Index fell 0.18% to end at 20,334.85, and the blue-chip Selective Index ended 0.12% lower at 29,652.63.
According to Dow Jones Newswires, financial-holding company Credicorp Ltd., which owns Peru's largest bank Banco de Credito, fell 0.65% to end at $122.80.
Beverage producer Union de Cervecerias Peruanas Backus & Johnston SAA lost 0.11% to end at 9.44 soles ($3.50). It is the biggest brewer in Peru.
Peru's securities regulatory agency Conasev said Wednesday it will allow investors to trade stocks online, through a brokerage, aiming to boost trade on the Lima Stock Exchange.
