The Lima Stock Exchange's broad General Index rose 0.22% to close at 20,726.59. The blue-chip Selective Index ended 0.13% higher at 29,966.71.
Financial holding company Credicorp Ltd. rose 2.41% to finish at $122.20. Credicorp owns Peru's largest bank, Banco de Credito.
Tin miner Minsur SA gained 1.18% to close at 2.58 soles ($0.96).
Going the other way on Tuesday was silver and lead miner Volcan Compania Minera SAA, which lost 2.3% to end at PEN2.98.
Precious-metals miner Compania de Minas Buenaventura SAA declined 0.27% to close at $36.70, Dow Jones Newswires reported.
