Peru ministry, US embassy team up to improve competitiveness
Lima, Feb. 17 (ANDINA). Peruvian Trade and Tourism Minister Eduardo Ferreyros and US Ambassador to Peru, Rose M. Likins, will launch today ‘Facilitating Trade', a project from the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) which aims to provide the country with technical assistance for improving business climate and competitiveness in Peru.

The event will be attended by USAID/Peru Mission Director Richard Goughnour and the project’s chief Elena Conterno.
USAID's ‘Facilitating Trade’ project will address issues such as labor matters, intellectual property, trade facilitation, administrative procedures simplification, medicine and telecommunications.
