Copper mining company Sociedad Minera Cerro Verde SAA decreased 2.2% to close at $37.
Companies that saw gains include base metals mining company Southern Copper Corp., which rose 3.4% to $30.60.
Financial-holding company Credicorp Ltd. ended 2.4% higher at $121.13. Credicorp owns Peru's largest bank, Banco de Credito.
