"In the last years, Peru's grape export rose over 30 percent. If we continue to grow, within three years we will become the second largest exporter of grapes, which is quite encouraging, as no country grows like ours," he explained.
In that sense, Cilloniz said that in the 2012-2013 campaign, it is expected that shipments of grape register a 25 percent increase compared to the 2011-2012 campaign, when it amounted US$330 million.
Moreover, he stated that this product is mainly exported to the United States, China and European countries.
